229. Smelly Stockings Not Washed.

They became very smelly. They smelled like vinegar.

And my best friend became annoyed by this.

So she told me to start washing my stockings and I washed every pair except one.

I decided to wear that one smelly pair of stockings on a date with my boyfriend.

I didn't think he noticed the smell of them but I was wrong.

He said to me, "What is that awful vinegar smell?"

My mouth became dry. I was instantly embarrassed.

Not wanting to lie to him, I sort of admitted it might be my stocking defeat.

He looked at me with disgust.

What he said next turned my complexion three shades of blue.

It surprised me because I would have never expected to hear this.

He told me he wanted me to shove my stockinged foot in his face.

I did it and I realized who I really was.

He said that he would buy my smelling stockings from me.
